As a part of its continued commitment to social responsibility, Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies, Lonavala has taken an initiative to adopt and support and uplift the ZP Primary School, Takwe.
This initiative is a part of SIMS’s strategic plan to holistically contribute towards the educational, infrastructural, and emotional growth of the young students. Over time, SIMS has conducted various welfare activities for the school including building infrastructure structure and enhancing their learning experiences in various ways.
A key milestone in this initiative was organising a school visit to the SIMS Lonavala campus. The young students were welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm. Their curiosity and excitement were evident as they toured the campus and observed the various departments and facilities with wide-eyed wonder. The institute provided transport and refreshments, ensuring a smooth and joyful experience for all.
The visit concluded with a colourful cultural program, where the students showcased their talents through songs, dances, skits, drama, and speeches.
SIMS remains committed to fostering meaningful community relations. This initiative is not just about school support, but about building dreams, instilling hope, and shaping futures.
